Black Panther bearings are a common inventory item in most skateboard shops around the word. Again, we recommend the Shorty’s Black Panther Abec 5 bearings because of the moderate pricing and the benefits of the Abec 5 rating. Abec 5 skateboard bearings are fast enough for street skateboard, yet are stronger than Abec 7 bearings (and cheaper too).
Black Panther bearings have crowns/cages to keep the balls evenly spaced in the bearing races. This is helpful for even load distribution both axially and vertically. Black Panther bearings are lubricated with oil. As far as Black Panther bearing design goes, they are a fairly typical bearing design. Aside from the addition of the derlin crown/cage, they are a pretty basic bearing.
Black Panthers have been selling in skateboard shops for about ten years now. You will find them as a common bearing staple for most shop inventory. If you can't find them at your local skate shop you can definitely find them online.

I have skated lots of different bearings before. Lots of them have broke. I've tried WD-40 it works pretty well but, i never feel like doing that. I've tried luckys, reds, flip, black panthers. Lots. Well lets start out with flip. These were my first pair. I got these because I didnt know much about skateboarding yet. They spinned for like a couple seconds. They also broke. Im never buying them again for sure. Then I got some luckys. They were pretty good. I liked them but not alot. Those evenutally broke. Then I got reds. I like reds alot, they are cheap and spin nice. They didnt ever break. I still have them. But, now I am skating black panthers. Ive had these the longest. They spin nice and are real smooth. Ive had these for about a year and a half now. Im not sure how much they are because I got them from a friend. I think they a simaller to reds but a little better. Both reds and black panthers get better everytime you use them. There much faster when they get older. A friend of mine moved to New York like 6 months ago, hes had this one pair of reds hes been skating for like 3 years. Hes got them from all these different people who has been skating them. If my bearings ever break Im hoping to get another pair from the local skate shop. My friend Keyon has a pair of luckys and has had them for a while. I gave them to him. theres like 2 wheels that actually spin for a little bit. The other ones spin for like 3 seconds. Im sure speed cream works because its sold in skate shops. But, I never heard about lighter fluid until like 2 days ago. Or lubricant. I don't want to try most of it because im scared it will mess my bearings up. But, my favorite bearings are black panthers and im trying to buy them until some other good bearing pops out of nowhere. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

My favorite type of skateboard bearing would have to be from Black Panther. Black Panthers are fast, reliable, quality bearings. Made with sophisticated technology, Black Panthers won't let you down. Black shields protect against dirt and grime buildup. The Black Panther Ceramix Bearings are very good. Great value for money, they are fast and dead smooth. I love these bearings and am dead pleased with how great of a bearing they are. I have had Black Panthers ever since I got into skateboarding. As far as I’m concerned, this is the best bearing company around. If you want a smooth ride, go for the Black Panther Ceramix. These bearings just keep on getting smoother and faster by the ride. It makes tricks a lot easier and keeps up with each push. They are by far the smoothest and best running bearings that I ever owned. Black Panthers are a well known and trusted brand in skating. If you want a really smooth ride almost like Rockin Rons Ceramics, what bearings would you recommend - these Black Panther Ceramix. I'm sorry but bones and lucky bearings suck. I've skated both and black panthers are water resistant and lube themselves and are faster than anything else. They out last anything you put them through. There is nothing like the experience that one has with them. I have tried many different brands and ABEC rated skateboard bearings, and these, as they say, "take the cake". They last a while if you take care of them properly, and they are worth the money. I see them as an investment. So, if you are a pro, an am, or someone who skates a lot and wants the best, pick up a set of Black Panther Bearings. Again, they are the best and you can never go wrong.
