So Lucky Bearings has a lot of choices. For starters they your basic Lucky Abec 3 bearings, ABEC 5, ABEC 7. I personally ride their Abec 5 Black Beauties and they work fine. They are really smooth and very tight. When I mean tight, I mean there isn't any play in the bearing at all. I highly recommend these bearings unless you want to try the other bearings to see what they are like.
The Ceramics use the advantage of ceramic bearing technology as discussed on our homepage. Basically all that is: ceramic balls don't deform under high friction and temperature. The keeps the bearings from breaking down at the ball/race level.
Lucky Titaniums use a titanium allow (not pure titanium) on certain parts of the bearing interfaces. Titanium is a light weight strengthener of metals.
Lucky Hardballs are just bearings with stronger balls because ball failure is the main cause of all bearing failure. Well actually it's half the problem.

7/25/2007 - The Phone Call to Lucky Bearings:
I just called up Lucky Bearings to see what they could tell me about them. Here's what I learned:
First and foremost, since Lucky has been around for a long time now, their bearings have become a staple in most skate shops. So for them it's an easy sale. Basically, when a skate shop runs out of Lucky bearings, they go "Well, we are out of Lucky's let call them up and get more". When I first heard this, I thought that just because they were a staple product to have in a skate shop, didn't necessarily mean that they were the best. But then thinking twice on the subject, I realized that they wouldn't be a staple product if people didn't like them. I guess one can assume that they are a safe bet.
Lucky boasts the tagline: "#1 Bearing in the World". I don't know if that means they are the number one selling bearing in the world or if there has been a reader's choice awards that has determined that Lucky bearings are the best bearings in the world. Perhaps they are just giving themselves that title.
What ABEC rating are the Hardball, Titanium and Swiss bearings?
That's a good question, and all I can say is that it doesn't really matter. It's safe to assume that they are faster than ABEC 3. And once you are at ABEC 5 you are not going to have a problem with speed anyway. I'm sure that Lucky claims that the Hardballs, Titanium and Swiss are fast.
Apparently, in the next few days a representative from Lucky bearings is going to send us some promotional material to post of this page. Stay tuned.

I Like to SkateBoard, Bearing's Can be Good, And can also be bad. If you like to manual, good bearings is really good to have so you go far without having to push off. They make bearings ABEC1 - ABEC7. Abec1 is the worst, and Abec7 is the best. Myself i like the way Lucky bearings look like, glowwing green, but i like The Element bearings. I like to manual and go Fast.
